This is just the pick-me-up we all need about the middle of January! This wonderful weekend of wine tasting is one of our County’s most anticipated seasonal events, and for good reason. Winter Wineland is a great chance to mingle with winemakers and taste some brilliant new releases and exclusive wines.
The annual event is sponsored by Wine Road, an association of wineries and lodgings in Northern Sonoma County—including many of our Wine Country Inns—that encompasses the Dry Creek, Alexander, and Russian River Valleys. This Winter Wineland event is one of several the organization sponsors to highlight the remarkable wine culture in the area.
The two-day fest is a movable feast of sorts, with participants traveling throughout the Northern County for tastings. More than 140 wineries will be participating this year, a hefty number to try and check off in just two days! Each will be featuring a vintage, varietal, or vertical tasting for the weekend. Ticket prices will include wine tasting at all of the participating locations.
(More specific details will be released closer to the event date, so be sure to check the website.)
