"This
is the cutest B&B ever! My bf and I spent Tuesday and Wednesday
night at this inn and had a great time. The Irish Rose is tucked
away on Dry Creek Rd., next to some other vineyards. It is truly
a gem in the wine country. Chris, the inn keeper, is super nice
and friendly. We had our chihuahua with us and Chris' dog just
left our dog alone. Chris even has a bunch of complementary tasting
coupons for nearby vineyards. My bf and I did not pay for a single
tasting."
"Overall, I had a fab time at Healdsburg - thanks to Chris.
I will def be back again.Just got back from a lovely stay at the
Irish Rose. Chris and Lenny are so laidback, but really helpful
at the same time. They make you feel welcome and at home right
away. The property is beautiful--in a quiet neighborhood, but
within a stone's throw of many wineries, and within walking distance
of the Dry Creek General Store. They have a big ol' Basset hound
named Bucket, a very friendly cat, horses, and a pot-bellied pig.
The room was large and comfortable, and happily not too fussy
like other B&B's--it reminded me of Pottery Barn style, with
a bit more country thrown in. No TV or phone in the room, but
that's a good thing when you should be eating, drinking, and being
merry! The breakfast was delicious! French toast souffle with
sausages and fruit salad. The company was even better--our hosts
joined us, as did a winemaker friend of theirs who just happened
to stop by. A great morning with great folks. We'll be back!"
