AUBERGE ON THE VINEYARD - CLOVERDALE REVIEWS

AUBERGE ON THE VINEYARDWe first visited Auberge on the Vineyard three years ago. We liked it so much that, when in the area this summer, we decided to stay there again -- and in the same room. The view of the vineyards is breathtaking. The buildings and rooms have been improved, including air conditioning and new furniture. And the breakfasts -- what can you say? Incredible! Fantastic! So large! And the owners are friendly, warm and very helpful! We Our reviewsdefinitely are looking forward to a return visit!!

We forfeited a couple nights of a prepaid hotel in Napa to come to Auberge On The Vineyard - the reviews we had read prior to leaving on our trip, and the pictures were amazing. None of which prepared us for the the beauty, relaxation, amazing surroundings, and the most delicious breakfasts ever! Normally at check out time, we usually pack up, hit the road. But here we lingered as long as we could! You will NOT regret staying at Auberge on the Vineyard, it truly is a life/relationship changing experience.

We had such a wonderful time here! We will absolutely try to make it back! We felt so refreshed and relaxed when we left. It was exactly what we needed. Not to mention the food was spectacular, and we loved our hostess Roxanne! The views are beautiful and the town of Cloverdale is adorable!
Very friendly and helpful host. Very comfortable bed and gorgeous bathroom. The absolute best part, however, was the spectacular view of the vineyards from the deck. I could have sat there, sipping my wine, looking out for days.

The Auberge is off the beaten track, to be sure, but you can't beat the amazing views and sense of being IN the vineyards! I was part of two couples traveling together for a romantic weekend of wine tasting and fine dining to celebrate both birthdays and anniversaries. The trip was rather last-minute and we still can't believe how lucky we were to find this hidden gem!

My stay at Auberge on the Vineyard was the highlight of my California wine country vacation! The owners, Susan and Roxanne catered to my every whim and want and the food was out of this world! My room was clean and inviting and the view was simply magical! I felt like I was in a movie! The whole experience was a treat! I can't wait to be able to visit again!

Situated in a corner of an Alexander Valley vineyard, the view of vines and the Russian River is a delight. We were serenaded by an acappella choir of frogs each night. So much wine and... so little time!!! Then, there are Roxanne's 3 course French breakfasts. Julia Child lives....

My goodness - what a wonderful experience. So glad we found you. Bed was wonderful - so romantic - like stepping into the past.
Breakfast was gourmet. Roxanne, AKA, Julia Childs, is the nicest host and a wonderful cook. She served the best breakfast we have ever had - definitely French gourmet.
You would be lucky to stay here !!!!!!

Auberge is the perfect location for visitors to the Sonoma Wine Country. The Alexander Valley is right outside the door and other wineries are easily reached on day trips. The room was large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The Carriage House is perfect for groups because of the large common area. The breakfast is truly a delight with Frrench specialities. Good guides on where to go and what to do in Sonoma. A great place to relax and get away.

This was a real find. I had been looking for a place to stay in Healdsburg, but had been discouraged by the prices of the accommodations. So, I seached on the Internet and found Auberge on the Vineyard. It looked wonderful, so I called. The person who answered the phone was so friendly and warm, that I instantly booked a room (she even told me which one she thought I would like). When we arrived, very travel weary, we were greeted by the same friendly woman, Roxanne the owner. The room was gorgeous, and the sunset over the vineyard was spectacular. What more can I say? I'll be back, for sure!

I’ve written many things before but I never thought I would be writing a thank you to a Bed and Breakfast. My wife and I stayed at Auberge on the Vineyard in Cloverdale, California and enjoyed our brief (three days) stay immensely. The trip was a gift from our children for our forty-fifth anniversary and it just took the number one ranking of our all time favorite gifts. If you want to stay in a relaxing peaceful environment where Roxanne does her very best to put you at ease (like being home) and cooking some of the finest breakfast’s I’ve had this side of Paris and I don’t mean Paris, Texas. Our room was the Vouvray Room in the Carriage House (recently remodeled) and had an excellent view over the deck to acres and acres of vines. We watched rabbits (fat and sassy) early in the cool mornings and later we even saw a flock of wild turkeys just strolling thru.

In desperate need of a re-charge, my husband and I decided to stay at this lovely little B&B just north of Healdsburg only 90 minutes outside of San Francisco. We stayed in the newly-renovated Echezeaux guest room which we picked for it's more hip, masculine look and its private deck overlooking the Sonoma valley. And we weren't disappointed. The quality of the room was only exceeded by its amazing views. The staff at the Auberge was warm and gracious and immediately made us feel right at home. The breakfasts (served promptly at 9am) were scrumptious and the wine-tastings at 5pm were refreshing and like sitting down with old friends. They were also most helpful in what to see... what to do... and most importantly... where to drink...

We first visited Auberge on the Vineyard three years ago (back then, it was The Shelford House). We liked it so much that, when in the area this summer, we decided to stay there again -- and in the same room. The view of the vineyards is breathtaking. The buildings and rooms have been improved, including air conditioning and new furniture. And the breakfasts -- what can you say? Incredible! Fantastic! So large!
