you to their unique country-cottage home ambiance with
fine European linens and cozy duvets. Many original
antiques have been collected during the owners’ travels.
Dating
from 1882 Melitta Station has been a lodging house since
the early railroad days and served as quarry-men's accommodations
before converting to a luxury B&B in 1985. Superb
access to Annadel State Park across the street for hiking
and biking is a unique aspect. Wineries of the Sonoma
Valley are down the road, whilst all other Sonoma and
Napa wine regions lie just a short distance further.
CUISINE
The owner is a professionally trained chef and prepares
a gourmet cooked three course breakfast served family
style at our farmhouse table. A blend of creative European
and American favorites provide the basis for Jackie’s
variations which never fail to delight the palate. Example
signature dishes include Cranberry-Walnut Strata, and
Caramelized Oranges with a Zest.
ACCOMMODATIONS
One
King suite offers short and long term luxury with a
Cal-King bed, luxury private bath with shower stall,
and a sitting, dining and mini-kitchen area. This suite
is also available for longer term vacation rentals,
and is suitable for those less physically able. A junior
suite offers a queen bed and private bath with an extra
room with a day-bed for an additional adult or two children
(subject to prior arrangement).
