We are committed to assisting journalists with stories about our association and the Sonoma County area that are unique, current and factual by providing new and unusual story ideas, resources and referrals, assistance with press tours, and classic press releases and photos.

Our goal is to assist you as quickly and thoroughly as possible. This is an outline of some of the services we provide to the press.

Wine County Inns Of Sonoma County’s stock images are for non-commercial travel promotion and/or editorial illustration use only. More than 30 high-resolution images are also available on a CD-ROM.

IMAGES CAN BE USED FOR
• Illustrations for travel articles about Wine Country Inns in newspapers, magazines, Web   sites or travel guidebooks.
• Illustrations in publications promoting attendance at a meeting or convention taking place   at one or more Wine Country Inns.
• Brochures published by tour operators and travel agents selling travel to Sonoma County.
• Brochures published by Wine Country Inns partners.

IMAGES CANNOT BE USED FOR
• Use in any paid advertising by anyone other than the Wine Country Inns.
• Promotion of business investments, real estate or relocation services, educational   institutions, etc.
• Illustrations in textbooks or “coffee table” books.

MEDIA VISITS / EDITORIAL TOURS

Wine Country Inns of Sonoma County is pleased to assist, given ample advance notice, qualified journalists in pursuit of feature stories. If you are planning to visit the Wine Country and need assistance with information and arrangements please contact Laramore Communications at 707.546.7525 or Nina(at)LaramoreCommunications.com at the earliest possible date.

Information needed in order to assist you will include:

• A fax on the letterhead of the media outlet you are representing
• Your name, e-mail address and phone number
• The circulation and/or audience of the media you represent
• A description of your assignment and the type of assistance you are requesting
• If you are a freelance journalist, the name and phone number of the of the editor who   gave you the assignment
• Arrival and departure dates
• If you will be mentioning your hosts in your story
• Number of people in your party
• Type of story and any special interests

 The earlier you contact us, the more we will be able to assist you. Requests for complimentary or press-rated accommodations are handled on an individual basis. Wine Country Inns is not able to pay for airfare, nor can we guarantee complimentary ground transportation.

Please note that complimentary arrangements and media rates are provided at the discretion of the host business, and are subject to availability. Because of their small intimate nature the inns have a limited number of rooms. Weekends, holidays and special event weekends will almost never be available, especially during peak seasons.

Please understand that our primary focus is in assisting working press. Host locations may not always be able to accommodate spouses, children and visitors accompanying working press.

Please allow at least four weeks advance notice for requests for itinerary assistance. Hosting requests may not exceed three nights, with no more than two nights in one inn.
