While most notable film fests feature great movies and documentaries, the Sonoma International Film Fest also features a fabulous location, top-notch food, and some of the world’s best wines. So mark your calendars for March 29-April 2, 2017!
Every year the fest draws not only film buffs, but filmmakers, industry leaders, actors, and producers from around the world. You never know who you’ll see coming down the red carpet! But the real stars are always the films, and this year’s fest will feature more than 90, including indies, documentaries, world cinema, and short films. All will be shown within walking distance of Sonoma’s Historic Plaza at a variety of intimate venues, such as the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art.
This being Sonoma, key components of the event are food and wine. The five-day fest will feature a delicious selection from local artisans and chefs, as well as wines from many of our exceptional Sonoma county vintners.
Guests can buy festival passes now at the Sonoma International Film Fest website. A Cinema Pass will allow access to all films, panels, and the Backlot Tent during daytime hours. The Soiree Pass includes all the above, plus access to the VIP area, opening and closing receptions, regular events and parties.
